Sunday was great fun. We opened the layout to families of NI employees, and we had a nice turnout. The pictures explain it much better!

The planning for the TEXLUG meeting train layout on October 12, 2002 has begun. Please see the layout planning page.

Please remember that the meeting is not an exclusive train event. You can bring any other creation that you'd like. If it can be worked into the train layout, great. If not, we'll enjoy it just the same. It's great to see what everyone has built, and we'll enjoy seeing each other's MOCs.

A date for the fall meeting has been tentatively set for October 12th and 13th (Saturday and Sunday; the first weekend of the month). Laura is arranging for the Texas Educational Representative of Pitsco/Dacta to come and show off her line of products at the meeting.

A fall TEXLUG meeting is in the works, and is tentatively planned to be held at National Instruments in Austin. The meeting will take place sometime in October, possibly on the 12th or 19th.

A presentation of Robolab will be given. We will also display our own creations and set up a train layout.
